We will be working with people in the Ashville area of North Carolina monthly to practice healing techniques. Cathy will facilitate this on Zoom.

No other Reiki Trainings or Mastership classes cover the material Cathy teaches in this 10-month intensive program. A Reiki Master for over 30 years, she will teach you how to enhance your healing practice with new skills and practices to help you create a thriving and deep healing practice.
What you will learn in the program
This course takes you step by step from your reiki attunement, to becoming an experienced and well-trained reiki wellness practitioner.
A good mixture of the practical and the spiritual will guide you to explore your craft and support your clients healing process. Each student is required to do at least one healing session per month and document it. You will be expected to do a case study to be presented at the end of the training.
Sharpen your skills and:
- Integrate scientific research to support your client‘s condition with best practices.
- Identify what your individual healing gifts are and how to present them to your clients.
- Learn the ethics of creating a dynamic and safe healing space.
- Safely support the exploration and development of your intuition
- Protect yourself legally and spiritually.
One of the Mini Retreats will be dedicated to mastering the Dragon Breathe Technique learned in Reiki Master Attunement and practicing giving attunements. Cathy will teach more about the symbols the symbols and journeying. In August, when we will not be meeting, there will be a recorded video dedicated to Reiki Business Basics and Strategies and a separate Guided Meditation recording.
Using the model of the wounded healer, this in-depth training examines how and why we are drawn to healing, and how our own wounds make us better healers when we are in awareness and working with them. Our own healing is an ongoing process, and it is important to maintain that in order to do our best work with our clients. Receiving healing also teaches us how to best serve and create a safe healing space for others.
Ground your practice in Indigenous Wisdom
Cathy teaches from an indigenous perspective, so we will talk about reiki as a shamanic tool for growth and remembering our place in the natural world. We will learn the importance of respecting the reiki healing spirits that walk with us and our connection to our ancestors. We will learn to unhook from more conventional healing models and approach healing as a dance, a weaving of energy to hold someone to remember their wholeness. Our clients are already whole, but we are restoring the ways they are broken from themselves, their essence. We seek through energy healing and respect for the natural order of things, to connect clients to their purpose and inner light. As we unlearn the Western Model of Medicine as the only pathway, we will see that each healing is a story and a thread to follow which reveals each client’s inner source of restoration. Teaching our clients to hold a combination of allopathic and holistic approaches, facilitates finding that pathway.
Reiki Master Attunement
Cathy will be giving Tera Mai Reiki Attunement Class two times during the course. To participate in the program, you need to have been attuned to Reiki 1 & 2 prior to class, and to have received Tera Mai Reiki Master Attunement before the end of the class. (For those already attuned to Reiki from other systems, Cathy strongly suggests that you get reattuned to Tera Mai, for which she charges $200. The systems are different and use different symbols that we will not be learning in this Course.)
